So I am about to purchase this amp, but before I did I wanted to make sure it was good. Can anyone testify?

FSD was considered a good deal when they first came out and had super low prices.

That being said, they're marketed as "budget" amps and several members have said they sound cheap

Okay, well my budget is $150, so is that the best I can get for the money?

Others might need to chime in. I don't keep track of what's new in that price range, and don't really feel like looking right now. Done with calculus, and getting ready for bed.

I'm quite pleased with my FZ1600D, and after seeing how my electrical is handling it so far, I'll likely be putting in my FZ2600D by this weekend.

Drove around with the 1600 on Sunday playing it at near maximum for 4+ hours and it never even got warm. I doubt you'd be displeased.
