FIRST UP : Prototype 15" Woofer - $250 shipped

Specs measured w/ coils in series:

RE: 3.3 ohms (Dual-2)

Fs: 38.2 Hz

Qes: 0.57

Qms: 7.77

Qts: 0.53

Le: 2.87 mH

Vas: 36.79 L

BL: 23.08 N/A

Specs measured with very little break-in time.

Not sure exactly what this IS but it looks like a Jugg or older DD motor... but it does not appear to actually be either one. I was told it was some kind of prototype.

I build it with three stiff spiders and a 50mm tall, 3" 8-layer flat wound aluminum coil.

Plain black dust cap (looks exactly like the Konaki Hybrid I sold on the front).

Does NOT have rubber gasket.

SECOND UP : X12 Prototype Woofer - $200 shipped OBO

Dual-2 coil... two layers... quite long (60mm IIRC).

SQ Oriented woofer.

I cannot find the specs right now and just ordered a new woofer tester... but I can tell you it is relatively high Qts and would prefer a sealed box. We have used it ported and it does get quite loud.

If you push it HARD it has a little bit of spider noise.

THIRD UP : Prototype candidate for Nightshade v.2 - $300 shipped OBO

Dual-2 Coil / 3" / 56mm long Round Aluminum

Concept prototype to try some ideas for the Nightshade v.2 -- ended up going completely different route with the sub.

It has four small dings in the cone where we had it moving so far it hit the spider bolt down ring.

Very strong motor... again, don't have the specs handy... but BL^2/RE was in the 200 range or so on this.

FOURTH UP: 2x SI Mag v.3 subs - need recones - $150 shipped each

Used these on my test bench for a long time until we got the first run of 3500s in... finally tore them up. They still kind of play... but need re-cones for sure.

That is quite an odd motor on that first proto. Reminds me of a 9500c motor with a taller top plate and different cooling in the top plate. Where'd you get it from?
Yea I thought it was a 9500d motor when i saw it at first...

some sick subs here glws
