Basically I'm getting out of the car audio deal for now (because I don't want to go through the hassle of installing all this stuff into a hyundai only to take it out when I get a real car when I get a real job).
Anyway, history:
I bought these 12O.44's when they first came out (they're dual 4 ohm each / flatcone) for about 200+shipping for each of them. They have seen an absolute maximum of 750 watts per sub (running of a bx1500d) which was the highest recommended RMS but I'm quite positive that they didn't even see that being I was using a stock ALT with just a yellowtop so I'm estimating that they probably only saw 600 watts a piece at any given testing time. They were only played loud for about a month of usage. Otherwise I always played them at moderate or quiet volumes due to the fact my ears can't deal with the pressure anymore and it hurts to turn them up (hence another reason I'm ditching them). I've had them off for a long time now and a few months ago I took them out entirely and they've been chilling in my closet. I can provide pictures upon request.
They are in like-new condition and I have not had any problems with them at all. Only issue is shipping being I lack the original boxes but I'm sure I'll find something reasonable to ship them in. I do have two seperate homemade black carpetted boxes for each that they're currently in which I'll chip in for free as long as the buyer pays shipping (they're heavy as you wouldn't believe).
