Cut out is the same as any 12" to basket sub. 11.25" I believe. They are 2500rms. Great price too. Why you no keep and use op?
There not all the same, i wish they were. Sundown, FI, SSA, and lots others are 11.125. And you cant screw a 11.125 sub into a 11.25 box, half of them dont have enough edge to tighten down. Ive even seen a few 11.06

Thanks guys!

I'll get measurements requested but might be Saturday before I can get time to do it. I'll post them soon as I do.

Right now looking to just run the tantric md 12" I have. Not sure if I want to go with the hdd yet since I'd probably have to do a little more upgrading on the electrical for an amp to run the sub.

They took there site down, you know the cutout and mounting depth on these?
There 2k rms?
11" cutout, 9.25" mounting depth

Never seen an rms rating on them but I would say 2k rms easy. I had planned to run the Autotek mx-5000 on it which is rated at 2400 and seen they've been clamped at over 2800.

That would be awesome. The HDD is to date my favorite ho 3" coil. They sound good and get stupid loud. The only subi have had that sounds better was tc 2000. As far as output nothing has came close. They're rated 2500 RMS and will eat a 2.5k amp like its a 100 watts. Not much bad to say about them. You will love it I promise. Don't sell unleash that beast.

Please don't tempt me lol...... If I could find a deal on an alt for my Accord I'd probably keep it!

Maybe I'll post the MD 12" for sale instead

The HDD is 2500 rms. It's cutout is 11.125, mounting depth is as stated

Thanks!

I had mine on 1000 watts and it beat a sp4 at .35 on a IA 20.1 and a dd9500 at 1ohm on the IA. More output then 2 tc 2000 12's at 1ohm on the IA. Beat my buddy's hdc3 15 by a long shot. Everything else I have to compare it to isn't really in the same class so I won't throw around anymore useless comparisons. But note that the HDD sp4 and dd were all 15's in optimal boxes. I feel with double the power the sp4 could have put up around about the same SPL. The dd was closer then the sp4. I bet because the difference in efficiency of its 3" coil and the sp4's 4" coil. The only thing I can say in the dds defense is it was none stock parts. But I can't imagine a huge difference. I would sell the MD to fund a alt. What year accord?
