Sold FS: Super rare vintage 6x9 Polk Isovent Enclosure

You'll never see another one of these. Super rare, vintage Polk 6x9 isovent enclosure, circa 1989 designed for Ferrari's and Porsches of that era. Original price for this was $650 (I know, because I saw it in person when I was 18) some 20 years ago.

And yes kids, thats a kerfed and areo port enclosure from 20 years ago. This is way ahead of its time.

I have one of those in my garage rafters,bought it at a flea market in Laurel Delaware for $40.00 back in like 1993.Someone blew the original speakers and replaced them with Pyramid 3 way 6X9's.Sounded like crap,but I thought the enclosure was pretty cool so I kept it,thinking I would replace the drivers with some Kicker 6x9" subwoofers later on.Never did get around to it.I knew it was different,an isobaric enclosure back then.But rare ???

Why would Isobaric be rare back then? Back in the 90s was really the only time anyone ran isobasic boxes. It was pretty common then.
