You'll never see another one of these. Super rare, vintage Polk 6x9 isovent enclosure, circa 1989 designed for Ferrari's and Porsches of that era. Original price for this was $650 (I know, because I saw it in person when I was 18) some 20 years ago.

And yes kids, thats a kerfed and areo port enclosure from 20 years ago. This is way ahead of its time.

I really don't know what to sell it for, so we'll start at $1000 or best offer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

also will entertain trades

I will, if you have things that are easy to sell...

I think my buddy would want these. He likes Polk, and unique shit.

My buddy needs some 5 1/4 comps and 6.5" coaxials though, and an auxiliary adapter for an Eclipse 5441i (if they make one). If you have any of that, there's a start...

I remember going into the rip off polk dealer here all the time and looking at the C4 ....I really liked but had no money. never heard one..it just looked good. ****...they ripped me off for a couple of their Polk 6x9's which at the time were the best I could find...

cool unit for sure

Old school sweetness for sure. My main concern would be the natural deterioration of "old school" speakers. I recently hooked up a first gen Bazooka tube (late 80's) I had stored in my parent's house and it played for about 20 seconds, then "flap, flap, flap....."

Cool piece of Polk history. Matthew Polk has always been one step ahead of most in the industry. I was a long listener of his SDA / CRS series of home speakers. If you can't sell it here you might contact Patrick at Polk and see if they have one in the museum of Polk speakers at the headquarters in Baltimore. Or go to the Polk site and see if there is some interest in this.

Plays just fine, I was using it as a sub for my TV for awhile. And actually, when I had my 18's out of my wall, I mounted it in the back of the wall just for some bass. Was surprising loud as a 8th order enclosure //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I'm open to offers on this piece of history //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
