Honestly it -could- be better, but then again i'm use to 148+ dB's...it gets very loud with bass, doesn't drop as low as I'd like..but all around it's a great "SQ" setup.

Does it get fairly loud though? I will be using it in my room which has a lounge off of it so I would like it to loud enough to be heard in the lounge really well.

oh hell yeah, it gets loud...I never even hooked up the 2 back speakers and my neighbor who's a good 300 feet or so away can hear it, and I haven't even pushed it hard. I mainly just use it for movies that I burn onto DVD, so it's never really been tested too much.
