usually you can get the unlock code off the net, try google and see if you can get it. I just did this for my girl with a T-mo samsung T-509.

Its T-Mobile only, I just slid a Cingular card in it and it said "wrong card"...

I just goggled unlock codes and there are several methods, but i aint doing it. I aint willing to mess up a good phone...

If you call T-Mobile and bich loud enough they will give you an unlock code...
