Ok, I really want to get this amp sold due to the fact I have a new sub coming in and need a amp that won't give me a hard time in the heat. This amp was refurbished and worked great all winter long. When the summer heat got here and the cooling fan started to be used I noticed it put out a static through the subwoofers and had a pretty nice turn on/off pop. I was told by Chris over at db-R that it was either a crossed up wire or the wrong kind of cooling fan was used and that he could just put filter's on it and that should fix it but he couldn't guarantee anything without see'in the amp. The amp is a 8/10 cosmetically and has a couple small knick's on the removable cover and I'd say a 7/10 performance wise at least until it's fixed.
This amp put's out some serious power with the proper electrical to back it up. Most of the T2000BD's put out around 2800rms@1 so that should give you a good estimate of about the power it will put out. This is by far the most powerful amp I have owned but I am just in the market for new amplifier's. This amp was also very clean and was never abused. Electrical wise I had 2 run's of Stinger 1/0 going to a SVR 75-12 battery and my voltage never dropped below 12.7.
With that being said I am open to trade's. I truly want another MTX1501D but haven't had any luck finding any on this forum but post what you have and I'll get back with you. Price wise I would like to try to get 400+ shipping (which would be around $20-25 depending). And I will repeat again, WHEN THE AMPLIFIER GETS HOT IT PUT'S OUT A STATIC/HUMMING BUT MORE THEN LIKELY IS A SIMPLE WIRING ERROR AND SHOULDNT BE TO MUCH TO GET FIXED. IMO 400 is a steal for a amp that has seen about 30 hours of play time. Better pictures will be posted later all I have right now is my cell phone since my digital camera has dead batteries.
So yea, someone buy my amp so I can buy another amp. I don't have many references but all 3 of my dealing's on here have been flawless and speedy and I'm sure if you PM any of the 3 people in my signature they will all say the same.
