Hey guys, for references since I am new on here you can check me out on ebay at desertheatracing and I have over 500+ paypal transactions so have no fear!

I have for sale a super rare set of aura mobile reference mr62 speakers. They are technically a coax but actually just the component set with the tweeter mounted permanently on a bridge. They do have seperate passive crossovers.

The set sounds simply amazing, I will put them up against any set made today in the $400-$500 range. For those of you that remember these they rocked ces about 3 years ago and were one of the most sought after sets ever made! Retail on this set was $449.99. I bought a bunch in bulk after the company sold and am clearing the remaining stock out. I have this set for sale to be cleared immediatley for $150 + $15 shipping.

Again these are literally an audiophiles dream and sound better than anything I have heard as of late and I shop allot! They are as smooth and clean as ya get period. Voices are amazing, highs are clear and not sharp. Also included in the link below is a review car sound did on the mr51 smaller 5" set awhile back. Even they were amazing! I also have some 5's for sale but the 6.5"s sound better to me.. Hit me up if you have any questions at desertheatracing@yahoo.com I happily accept paypal. Shipping will be ups ground.

How do the rainbow soundlines compare to these desert? just wondering
I personally have not heard the soundlines "no dealers I can find locally that I have called" but I would love to hear a set! I have been told good things about them, but I have been told good things about allot of drivers. The fact is I know these mr62's are awsome so I will leave ya with that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Ok, for the record here, i have a set of the 5 1/4"s mounted in the kicks and i am REALLY suprised how well these handle power for only being rated at 50 watts. Im running about 70 a side and they take it like a champ. Bear in mind these are sealed kickpanel enclosures. Tweeter is VERY smooth, kinda reminds me of the Boston silk tweets.
Sure, your not gonna be able to toss 200w at 'em, but they can be played loud enough to satisfy most people.

Great guy to deal with here people.

Thanks guys, I will reply to both in one post so I am not such a post ***** //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

As for power handeling, yes they are on the conservitive side. I used to run 400w to the front stage per side, while they never received close to the full 400w they did handle the large loads of power with ease but they do have a limit. But for me and most they get PLENTY loud of that is what people are wondering about.

So true, these are SQ/ Audiophile speakers. Compared to CDT CL62s that I have, there is no comparison, the MR62s are noticably better by far. I feel like I've received great value by picking up the Auras, whereas, I didn't feel the same way about the CDTs or Apline.
I'll second that: good seller!!

Harvey, that is a point I have been trying to drive into people... But unless they hear them in person or I have other people spread the word not a soul will know. These speakers are awsome! Like I said long ago, If I personally paid $400 for these I would be VERY happy with them after hearing lots and lots of current sets "still getting caught up"

The key in my mind that makes this set a real winner and sound so good is they very smooth detailed tweet and the very light efficient mid cone with neo radial mag stucture. The original engineers at aura really chose a perfect combo for the mr sets.

I could not ask for better and for $165 shipped people in the market willing to pay $400 would be foolish not to get these and give them a try for this price. Heck they could sell them off for more on ebay if they did not like them for some crazy reason.

Still wish more people locally gave them a listen and a review in my current truck so the word would spread more.

haha yeah, those boxes work perfect, your other set is on its way also //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I put 60rms to them and with there high efficiency they get PLENTY loud. They are only rated at 60rms. Remember wattage is not everything. You going from 60rms to 80rms at max rms only gives you right at 1db more volume.
