Hey guys, for references since I am new on here you can check me out on ebay at desertheatracing and I have over 500+ paypal transactions so have no fear!

I have for sale a super rare set of aura mobile reference mr62 speakers. They are technically a coax but actually just the component set with the tweeter mounted permanently on a bridge. They do have seperate passive crossovers.

The set sounds simply amazing, I will put them up against any set made today in the $400-$500 range. For those of you that remember these they rocked ces about 3 years ago and were one of the most sought after sets ever made! Retail on this set was $449.99. I bought a bunch in bulk after the company sold and am clearing the remaining stock out. I have this set for sale to be cleared immediatley for $150 + $15 shipping.

Again these are literally an audiophiles dream and sound better than anything I have heard as of late and I shop allot! They are as smooth and clean as ya get period. Voices are amazing, highs are clear and not sharp. Also included in the link below is a review car sound did on the mr51 smaller 5" set awhile back. Even they were amazing! I also have some 5's for sale but the 6.5"s sound better to me.. Hit me up if you have any questions at desertheatracing@yahoo.com I happily accept paypal. Shipping will be ups ground.

Tweet can be removed but will require a bit of custom work. Also I have heard a few focal sets and combos, depends on which set you want to compare them to...
compared to the access 5 1/4 seperates and the polykevlar 5 1/4.... oh and the CDT CL-61A... let me know if you've heard them and can compare them... smoothness, amount of midbass, clarity etc... I'll be running them on a zapco so they'll get CLEAN power!

hmm... I'm also going to have to fit them in 5 1/4 spots (91 BMW 325i)... but at $150, 1/2 the cost of focal access sets they may be worth it.... maybe I'll get 2 sets //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.. and BTW:... it's odd but I have the same couch set as you.... small world eh?

do you have any of the 6½" sets left? and how much for a set? for the price i don't think they can be beat... i still have the mids and xovers from the mr5.1 set i had from about 2 years ago and i loved them even off deck power... i'm gonna buy the tweets from you later this week when my check comes in and probably buy a set of the 6½'s from you as well if you still have any...

I have heard both kevlar and polyglass focal sets in the car audio form and home audio form and they were great speakers, Put it this way though, I can pretty much own anything I want and I still run the aura's, only one set on the market that I like as much but they go for around $550 for the set. I have not heard the cdt's but I have had a local customer sell his cdt set off and use the mr62's after hearing them and numerous people on here getting rid of there cdt tweets in favor of the aura tweets.

Haha good taste man //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I have the couch, ottoman, loveseat and chair! Thought they looked cool.

Yes I do have some, found 8 more sets early last week that I did not know were in cold storage. "have a 20 x 20 full of crap haha"

you wouldnt have any xovers only to sell me would you?
No sorry, they look to be all gone but I will check what I have laying around...

Also please remember guys that these sets are no longer in production and do not carry a warranty! They will arrive mint and in flawless working order guaranteed and will provide years of awsome sound! Just do not abuse them.

I had a guy that bought about 4 months ago smoke a mid yesterday wanting a new one free, Asked him how the heck he did it and "he had no idea why" Asked what amp he was running and it was a profile ap2000 to them... Then I asked the crossover frequency and he just said "Not sure, they are the ones that came with the set" DOH! Enough said...

which set did you like as much as the auras?

Sorry should not have said "on the market" For they were custom units useing seas excel speakers and at $550 that was the cost of the raw components. They were simply amazing, nothing I have heard for 2x that amount could compare to them.
