PPI DCX-730 processor - JVC KD-AR8500 HU - Vifa TG9 mids

After the introduction of this issue (Linky), I've decided the most appropriate route for me is stepping back to the Ural unit. This means both the PPI and JVC go back up for sale...again, lol.

As well, I'm adding the TG9 mids I bought not so long ago. I plan to go 3-way but opted for a pair of Dayton RS52 mids instead. I haven't actually run the TG9 mids since I got them, so they are still brand new. They look pretty, but I can't say anything about how they sound.:p

Pricing:

PPI DCX-730 - $280 shipped

JVC KD-AR8500 - $365 shipped

Vifa TG9 3.5" - $65 shipped

I figure I'd do shipping pricing this time around. Shipping is generally in the range of $12-$15 via FedEx Ground for reference.

The JVC and PPI are both in my car at the moment, so you'll have to wait about a week till I get through finals and can get around to taken them back out of the car and shipped. The TG9 can ship right away.

I've only got pics of the JVC unit currently, none for the PPI and TG9, although they should be able to be found from those who sold them to me. The PPI looks like new basically. I think the previous owner had some adhesive sort of stuck on the processor unit, but that's about it. Otherwise, it's fully functional, scratch free, essentially like new. I can get pics when I pull it out of the car if you really want, but you'll be waiting for a week.

Cause I know the JVC unit is virtually unknown to most of you:

While it's in my car, I should grab a couple "on" pics for you guys. I tried before, but the camera was really fussy with the lighting, getting blurry and oversaturated photos.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

I've got the PPI processor underneith, so I can take a couple photos of the face at least.

Got some in-car pics of both the JVC and PPI processor. I'll make a small note on the processor as the bottom text looks messed up. Realize it's about 10F, that's scrolling text, and the display type it uses is a bit sluggish till it warms.:p

I'm pondering.

Ponder away.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I originally didn't directly image those pics cause they take up so much space.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

I'll make a small note that there is another member that has shown great interest in the PPI processor. There has been no payment yet, so the unit is still sort of open to availability. However, I do consider him to have first dibs on the unit at the moment unless he expresses a change of mind. I would normally consider hardware open to whoever pays first, but he has shown more than a casual interest in the unit, so I'll let him decide to buy/pass on the unit first.

Ok, F150Truck'in has given me the go ahead to put this back up for sale. Despite interest, he wasn't ready to pounce although still thinking about it. I'll leave it at this. Whoever pays first gets it.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Just for clarification. The JVC HU does come with all original hardware, all the documentation, installation hardware, and even the original box. Nothing is missing, worn, or broken.

I just want to say, I'm going to pass on Matt's DCX for the time being.

I also wanted to openly commend and thank Matt for all his help and advice on this processor...

He is a hell of a nice guy....... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/handclap.gif.0c301076f534e244f0460706894f19e0.gif

Took the PPI and JVC units out and threw back in my Ural. Here's a few more pics of both the PPI and JVC together.

I'll make a note right now. At some point, within probably a week, I'll use up my monthly bandwidth for my file host(1gig/month:p ) from picture views. If they all stop showing, that's why.

I know it's payday. Nobody wants to buy themselves an early X-mas present? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
