Dual model, has a 2.4 or 3.6v step down. Its a good unit, i used to run them, never had any issues.

Steps down the output on a 16v alt/charging system to send normal operating voltage to the vehicle. Allows alt to run 16v amps and still run the vehicles 12v system. Should work with any brand alternator.

Thanks DEAF.That is pretty much it.It allows you to run dual voltages with only 1 alternator.
