face folds down to reveal the oel display

It had a little mechanical problem with the motorized face, but it was repaired by an authorized facility and now it works like new. They even changed out some parts that were workign fine, like the lens and some cables.

correct, there is no remote. I believe it was serviced about 6 months ago. After it was serviced, it just sat on my desk looking pretty for a few months until I installed it in my brothers car for about a month.
