oddly enough, i just installed the cd-ib100ii in my g/f's car last night with a pioneer deck, i love it (she does too). good luck with this and its a great unit.

and its not any deck thats ipod ready, its any deck with an ipbus connection on the back. the DEH-P6000 in her car is old ( 5+ yrs old ) and it doesnt scroll the info across the screen (like my P8600 does) but it still works.
