can you strap 2 of these and run each amp at .5ohm daily. My electrical will consist of 160-170 idle 250max DC power alt, big 3 in 1/0 2 runs of 1/0 to the back. spv70, and two C&D 134AH batteries in the back total of 340AH for batts in the back alone

To be honest I don't know in regards to the electrical and the strap question. I have never ran a system that big before so I have never looked into strapping these. Sorry man.

x2 rev, ive had several of these model Orions, clean and reliable power. I remember when the demand was huge for these, sad that its not like that anymore.... This is a solid 2500w at 1ohm at what, less than $400??

People will buy Sundown 3000's for 600+ but for 500 watts less and over 200 bucks less no one wnats it...wierd. I mean 3k vs 2.5k is hardly even noticeable.

I had one once, never really got to use it at full potential. I would like another. By the way, OP how much picked up?
