i have a 99 polaris 1050slx. it pretty much needs a new motor. you could rebuiold the one it has but would probably be easier/cheaper to buy a new one. other than that it seems fine, though i cant guarantee it. i havea few parts laying around. it also has a single jet ski trailer that i would sell separate if anyone wants just the trailer. would like 500 for both or 250 for either one. can provide pics upon interest.

ill try to get pics up by wednesday

the ski is at my friends house where i kept it while i was deployed and i have no room to bring it back to my house. anyway ill get pics asap.

just to be perfecdtly clear here, the engine def needs to be rebuilt/replaced. no ifs ands or buts about it.

I talked to him and he is going to get pics up. You can find alot of info on the model with a simple google search //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I live in northern Wisconsin and considering driving to pick it up. So it's hard to believe for the price that Western NC is too far //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif lmao

You shouldn't have a problem getting $250 for the ski. The trailer though, $175 tops. Trailers are every where, and a brand new one can be found for about $350-$400.

Here's a 1998 SLX, same as the 1999 model.

It's a 3 cylinder 2 stoke.

A motor will cost $945 from SBT Performance, plus a $200 frieght charge that you get back after sending in your old engine.

I have rebuilt a couple of engines that came from SBT, they truely ****. Rebuild em your self at a local shop. support the local guys and get a better quality at a few bucks more //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I have never had a problem with SBT. They also have a 1 year full warranty.

What kind of motors have you gotten from them, and what exactly was the problem?

one seadoo 580 and 2 seadoo 650 engines. on both 650's the cranks where so far out of balance i cannot understand how they ran. I took pics of the last engine I worked on. There was a lot that I fixed that could have been done by SBT. the cylinder walls should not have been shipped they way they where and I found a bolt in the crank case. don't remember what else until I find the pics again.
