I'll be reciving my NIB Alpine CDA-9855 from Troy9 on 4/14 (Thursday) should have it in by the first of the week.

Just got my new in the box Alpine CDA-9855 yesterday it came double boxed just like I was told it was going to be.

Although I haven't had time to have my new head unit installed, I did stop by Sound Advice to check the out the Alpine-9855 in person as I had never seen one before.

I was surprised to find out that Sound Advice didn't have the CDA-9855 in stock yet I was told "I could put a down payment on it so be sure to get on when they came in next month just kind of looked at the salesman and shook my head like WTF"?

They did have the Alpine CDA-9835 on display which is just a step down from the CDA-9855 all I can say is that not sure what features that it lacks but from what I saw all that can be said is wow this is a kick *** unit.

I have a 2004 Pioneer MP860 which us nice in its own right but have grown tired of it and was looking for a new head unit and I can say that even thought it’s not installed yet my new Alpine CDA-9855 will be getting quite a bit of use and it will be around for a while.
