these are monitors used for commercial purposes. Such as those you see in the mall showing only one picture all the time.

ahh yea i see thats what I thought after I typed the question..

but **** that is a waste of money invested into the TV. could have gotten LCD instead which wont produce any burn ins? correct?

I have heard after a long time yes they will..but not near as common as the plasma

I want pictures, as does everyone else, of the TV turned on with perhaps a blue screen(DVD format loading or something) So I can truly see how bad the burn is...
