I'm sad to announce that I need to get rid of the avalanche if I want to do two Mag 15's in my truck by Dec 2nd (Two Bass Race competitions that weekend).

So, I'm putting my Avalanche 18 up for sale with a heavy heart. This is probably the biggest low end monstor most will ever hear. 4l of linear displacement, XBL^2, Fs of 16Hz, conservativly rated at 900w IIRC. This thing KILLED in my truck 7.5cuft@28Hz with 1000w of power. They can run decent in ~5.5cuft Net on up. The more room the more super low end you pick up though (not that it matters. It will get loud low no matter what).

It pulled a 145.X on the Term Lab at 38Hz.

For home theatre it can run extremely flat from 11Hz-45Hz in a decent sized ported enclosure (11cuft@12Hz) with an F3 of 9Hz.

It is in immaculate mechanical condition and 9/10 cosmeticlly. There are some nicks on the surround and it is a tad dusty but I am going to give it a wipedown.

I would love to keep it but It is just sitting as I dont need anywhere near this sort of woofer on tap for my tiny home theatre.

$300 + shipping takes the cake. Shipping will probably ~$45 as it weighs 45lbs shipped.

I am open to offers but lowballers will be sincerely told off. I love this thing with all my heart and I want to see it go to an appreciating home.

I also have an Avalon 12" I'll let got for $50 shipped.

Depends on what Qtc you want.

3.5cuft sealed unstuffed will give you an F3 of ~30Hz. Stuff it and that would be perfect for car.

I dont know what the T/S's are. The woofer is 5 years + old but still in perfect condition. Better than the RE RE series IMO...Compareable to the Assasins.
