i have never seen, nor would i know how to even begin installing that thing. i imagine its very similar to a LOC? What are its pros over a loc?

They advertise it to boost the low end frequencies as you turn up the volume because most OEM systems lower bass automatically as volume goes up. It does work, let me tell you that.

Has built in subsonic and low pass filters as well for the sub channel.

i like my req5. basically a high-end line out converter with a few crossovers and a line driver. i dont know about boosting the low end frequency mine had full range but it works great otherwise. great product for a great price glws

any one care to chime in how this would compare with a AudioControl Lc6i? considering tryin this out

the audiocontrol is a better unit but price-wise this is just as good and most likely will fit in more spots in the vehicle than the lc6i. my req5 which is a good bit bigger than this, is hidden in the kick panel of my chevy cruze.

I only had it installed roughly a week, had it for about 3 weeks prior waiting for other stuff to arrive. There is nothing wrong with the unit. It is in flawless condition.
