Hi all, I have a 5 meter cable of XLN pro wiring (2 channel) rca's that sell at Good Guys for $120.

These have never been used, but taken out of the box, which was not in good condition.

These are some of the best cables you can get, up to 120 db signal noise reduction, etc. They are massive in size, I like the analogy that they are like a garden hose, ahha.

Unfortunately, cable size has practically nothing to do with the sound quality of the cables.

Some of the best cables in the world are also the thinnest.

However, shielding in a sense does, and it is proven.

With the proper sheilding that these cables provide, they pick up virtually no noise along the system. In a sense providing the cleanest signal possible given the particular components they have.

Wire size does come into play when power is concerned, as current flows differently and with different characteristics through different wires.

I think anyone that purchases these is getting a steal--it's stupid to think that you can beat these cables at the new price point.

I just love making bets like these, only had one local ever take me up on one, he was SOOOO sure he could tell the difference between his mcintosh 420 vs an old kicker impulse 4 channel I had laying around he bet his amp on it. I won of course, It was very sad, thought he was going to cry. I let him keep his amp of course because he did not know any better and the bet was really not fair for he was kinda new in the audio scene //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Man that was a really nice amp he had. Wish I had to funds to afford that nice of car gear. Still buds with him to this day for the favor I did by letting him keep it hahaha!!!!
