Sold FS: monster alt. adjustable from 15.5-18.5 v

well i got this leeceneville ho alt, its 160 amp min and 230 amp max, internaly regulated and completly adjustable ,from 15.5 v to 18.5 volt,. monster alt, and it was just rebuilt and picked up the day before yesterday, im selling it because i didnt rebuild it with intentions of runing 16v system im on 12 v so i cant use it... i did install it in the van to make sure it works and it does.. it does,... with lights on, hazards,wipers,heater, system full tilt it didnt move from 15.8 volts... but i dont think its safe for my setup so i cant use it...

if you feel safe with 16v then you can have it... here are the pics of the alt and no i do not know what cars it will fit ect ect. i can tell you it fits ford ecnolines 80-85 thats a sure thing other than that i dont know...

askind 300 OBO for it plus shipping or local pick up or it can be picked up at sbn...and it does have a 6 month warr, from the man i had rebuild it

and he gave me an option on rebuilding it, do i want it to work or do i want it reliable and i went with reliable so he put what he says are the best parts that fit...

someone asked how to adjust the voltage, under the red cap thats on the rear of the alt , is a blue item with a white arrow, you use a small screw driver and a dimm, and turn it clock or counter clock wise to adjust the voltage..

thats just all the more reason to buy it, if you have a alt that will keep you going you wouldnt have a problem runin 16v and wouldnt need the battery charger any more ....its a win win situation lol...
