It only seems sketchy. But it's not. It's just the fact that it's a projection. And, most projections that wide are 1080p because 1080p would make a noticeable difference on a 55". Bump for a great price!

yeah thats a sick deal, and he can't be a scammer because he is looking for a local pick-up only. I have a 54 inch Samsung on Craigslist locally for like $500 and its not even HD!

Should sell fast dude. Have you listed on Craigs by you?? If not you should.

I don't think most projections are 1080p. My parents' 52" widescreen is a 1080i and my 55" projection is 1080i. However, it's still a good price. For the peopl calling scam, it's not unheard of depending on how old the TV is. My roomate just bought us the 55" HD set from a friend who owns one of the big resorts around here for $200. But ours is an Akai(cheap brand), has a few years on it, and it has a power supply issue.

Bump for a good price on a nice set. Anyone in the area would be crazy to pass this up (unless it really is a scam and the OP is just trying to lure people in for surprise buttseqs)

just had an episode last night. guy placed a for sale ad for a 95 chevy caprice. another guy met up with him locally to buy the car for a cash only deal. the owner never showed up, because he had his buddy try to rob the buyer. the buyer resisted, was shot, and died.

not saying the OP is doing shit like this, im just saying you're too naive...
