one of my all time favorite hu's, which says alot considering its not 3 way active....i prefered the x993 over the alpine cda-117 i had before it. I really enjoyed the layout of the menus and options. Like most new hu's it took a little time to learn where everything was but once I got it down it was super fast to navigate through. The usb search and load ime did circles around the alpine. The 2010 cda-117 had to take a few mins to load the usb drive content EVERYTIME it powered up. The kenwood seemed to have this down to a science 2 years earlier. The rest of the bells and whistles were impressive too. the only thing that lacked somewhat was the blue tooth. I didnt use the blue tooth much but when I did it wasnt terrible, certainly not a deal breaker.

For the $ you wont find anything better, glws man.
