Selling my Jailbroken 16gb iPhone 3g running FW 2.1 so I can pick up a blackberry bold in a couple weeks. Asking $700 obo shipped FedEx Overnight for it, they are going for 700-1000 on eBay. It will come with apps (Video Recorder) and games (crash bandicoot nitro cart, super monkey ball, etc.) or as a wiped device whichever the buyer would prefer. I don't have paypal so Postal Money Orders only.

You can install unauthorized 3rd party applications, apps not available from apple. You can essentially get every appstore application for free if you look in the right places since you are able to access portions of the phone that you aren't capable of when it isn't jailbroken. It's how I have wallpapers, folders, 5 icon dock, weather shit, etc.

Apple locks it so you can only install apps from their program "appstore" when its jailbroken you can install apps apple does not offer.

1. that's for new contracts or if you're eligible to upgrade.

2. I wasn't therefore I paid $550 out the door.

3. You can't buy them with out a contract.
