Other than that just the guitar is useless to me.I could try to sell it local, but I'd prefer to avoid the hassle.

Yeah, you definently don't want to mess the disk up.I've babied mine.On of my friends had to exchange his out because this fat dude tried pulling one of the wired controllers too far, ps2 fell maybe a foot.Then the disc basically stopped working.
