Okay...last attempt to unload this before it goes to the recycling place.

And i REALLY don't want to have to strip this stuff so i will try my best to make a good deal.

This is 262.6 MCM Locomotive grade. It is roughly between 4/0 and 5/0. Very flexible considering the size of the cable. I have 2 lenghts...each about 15 foot. If needed i can bond the 2 into any length

Screw multiple runs of 1/0 or 2/0. Just go for the overkill with this monster stuff.

Welding supply has 4/0 at $4.20 per foot. So i am gonna bite the bullet and sell for $100 + shipping for all 30'.

Yes my friends, that is $3.33 per foot.

Now for 1 section, aka 15', i will sell for $55 + shipping.

Even then, that is still nearly a dollar less per foot for larger cable. $4.20 for weldingsupply, $3.50 for mine.

If someone is to buy all 30' and need it bonded, add another $10 for materials and labor.

Also....i might possibly be interested in a trade of some sort. Perhaps a half *** pair of comps or a nice set of coax's...6.5's.

Or possibly an amp to power some cheap coaxes.....just whatever might tickle my fancy.

On to the pics:

Flexibility...mmmm...

Prices may be negotiable, shoot me a PM.

Fusing it won't be too hard. Just find a local CNC shop that will make you a fuse block.

I could have one made if needed. Of course the price of the fuse block would not be included in the cost....heh.

fuse it? why! lol.

you could fuse it easy. get some aluminum or brass stock, and cut it into two lugs. drill a big *** hole in a side on each chunk, and drill a small hole in the top down into the large hole, and tap it with a tap\die set - buy a nice machiene screw to fit.

drill a hole or two into the bottom and tap them, and get some MDF or some plexi if you can get it, and secure each chunk to it - using the distance of a ANL fuse.

drill two holes on the top of each chunk corresponding to a PAIR of ANL fuses next to each other, and you have a few hundred amp fuse block.

repeat for a distrobution block //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

as far as the wire goes, i know someone who might be interested.

one guy on here was selling the 425 mcm or w/e it is that stuff was HUGEE like 2ice the size of this stuf haha idk how much it went for.. but ****

I had some 646 MCM....sold it to a local contractor though.

The conductor was about....25% larget then a US quarter...i will try and dig the pics up, just for show.

I can probably round some up from my stock. The problem will be in crimping them on.

If you give me a rough estimate on how you want them crimped on i should be able to get them done for you before i ship.

Fuse it with a foot of 4AWG. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Incredible wire, I was gonna point you in Req's direction, but he's already spotted the thread.
