In a nutshell my friend ran 2, smashed the cone on the other one from severe overexcursion. i bought them off him. This one has a some small marks on the surround and the coil scratches a little, but i ran it in my truck sealed for 3 weeks w/ 0 problems. You can only hear the scratch if your pushing on the cone w/ the sub out of a box.

its a little beat up, but i used it in my buddies truck and completely eliminated a .4 volt drop running 2kw... so it does the job.
