Sold FS: Eclipse XA4000 and/or Focal K2P 165KF components

I'd prefer to sell one or the other, but both are currently for sale //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Bought them both locally from a fellow DIYMA member within the last month, and am going a different direction with my setup. I am asking what I have into each of them. $225 shipped for the Focals, and $220 shipped for the XA4000. Both are in excellent cosmetic condition and function perfectly. They were both purchased authorized, and all serial numbers are intact. The Eclipse comes with the original packaging and manual. The Focals do not have the original packaging, but come with the woofer grilles, and all the tweeter mounting hardware. Not looking for any trades at the moment. Here are pics of both:

They are the 165KFs... As far as I know, there are several in the K2 Power series... The K2P with the phase plug are the highest of the 3, then these, then the KPs. Here are the 3 on woofersetc:

I apologize that I'm not more familiar with these... they have come out with quite a few different versions in the Polykevlar lineup. It looks like the KPs might be the newer version of the ones I have. Hopefully that helps.

How does what I paid for them correlate with what they're worth to someone else, anyway? Had they been given to me as a gift, would they have been worth less all the sudden?? Your logic is flawed at best. Remember- you agreed to the trade, so obviously they were worth the value of your Orion 2500d at the time.

Well then do that. I'm not going to charge someone for the value of the equipment that was involved in the trade I did to acquire them. That's my loss. The agreement between you and I was much different. Had I sold them to you for $375 rather than traded for the amp, I'd still technically be breaking even. Bottom line is, we both had equipment that was of comparable fair market value. Used Orions have gone from $340-$400, and these Focals have sold from $300-$350. I was kicking in $40. When I mentioned in the PM about cutting you a good deal on these, $225 is exactly what I was going to offer them to you for. As my feedback indicates, I am not here to rip anyone off. I wouldn't have offered them to you for $300 then posted this thread for $225.

Last week, I traded rockmo a set of almost BNIB MB Quart QSD-216 components for 2 Pioneer Premier TS-W2502SPLs that were used, but in great shape. My components retail for $1000; his subs retail for $450 for the pair. But I got a good deal on the MB Quarts as well, and it was worth it for me to do the trade.
