1) Eclipse Aluminum 12” Subwoofer SOLD!!

I bought this sub in excellent used condition and used it for about 3 months. It is still in excellent used condition. I’d give it a 10/10 for performance and a 9/10 for cosmetics. There are some scuffs on the surround and the aluminum cap is perfect. I ran it off a JL 500/1 in a 1.0 cuft enclosure and it produced some of the most accurate bass I’ve ever heard. Bought from a member on ECA two weeks ago. Never used personally only powered to verify that they work and they are 100% functional and sound great! Cosmetically I would rate them a 9/10 – just some small scuffs on the back of the lip from when they were mounted before.

Guys -

I realize that the rated power says 110 on the box, spec sheet, and the website, but 75 on the mid. I don't know why this is but have contacted Arc to find the answer.

Well I just spoke to Brad at Arc Audio and he said that they are required to stamp the mid at 75 because that is the true RMS power handling of the driver. However, dynamically the music power handling (like when the speaker is in your car playing your tunes) is 110 watts. This component set is made by Rainbow in Germany specifically for Arc Audio.

I also asked him where these rank in the Rainbow family and he put them above the Professional series most notably for their excellent off axis compenstation. And he should know because he has this same set in his car with nearly 400 watts per side.....and that was not a typo....bridge a 4150 XXK and that's his set up.
