It's been forever since I owned a stick but iirc the pilot bearing noise goes away when you push in the clutch, Or vice versa. either way that will tell you if it is the pilot bearing thats bad.

correct have the same problem on my rex its the release bearing. But if someone wanted to fix it mine as well buy the whole clutch kit and redo it all. Nice price, nice car.
