just upgraded the desktop from a 1.86ghz E6300, to a 2.4ghz E6600. super pi 1M times went from 27 seconds down to 21 seconds

updated list a few things sold and few were pending but people fall through constantly

it is a side job, i build and fix pcs, turn them around and make a little cash or donate them to goodwill or salvation army. i always have spare parts sitting around

all the drives are internal 7200rpm pata, but you could easily put them in an external case for about $20

BTW, anyone need a semi budget computer?

I am thinking of building one using either the Celeron 3ghz or the Core2Duo e6300 listed above. It would be built in THIS case.

How does this Geforce FX5200 AGP 256mb DDR compare (besides being cheaper) to an ATI x1900xtx PCI-E video card?

I am completely ignorant when it comes to this computer inside stuff. guy told me get this ATI one and it was excellent, but not looking to spend a cpl. hundred on it either.

Let me know as I am interested in the one you have if it is comparable.

not even comparable. if you need a gaming card that will play the newer games buy the 1900, if you need a decent card that will play games a few years old and is better than just onboard video buy the 5200
