how would you compare these to the hd-6 mids? Im sure these are the winner of the two as far as midbass but how do they do as far as midrange?

I have an answer for this, and I asked Brad if he minds if I butt in. HD-6 will sound great up to the 5-7 kHz range, even though they would never be crossed that high in normal use. HD-M6+ is a small subwoofer that can also play midbass. If I were to use them in my own vehicle I'd cross them no higher than 250 Hz.
