Used, play perfectly. There is rope caulk on the back side to seal them when they're mounted. That will be pulled off before they're shipped. Some residue may be left behind.
These are heavy duty 4" mids that can be used free air or in small sealed or ported enclosures. I have used these in 0.15 cubes sealed down to 100 Hz. Please note the power rating of 50W RMS. That is each, not for the pair.
Customization is likely required to make these fit your vehicle.
