how much can they take thermally? and also have you played with DD 1008s how would you compare these to them if you have? thanks!

I was running them IB, obviously and each was taking 550 rms, they're only rated at 500 each so I'm guessing in a box they'd be able to take a bit more without complaining //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.... of all the 8's I've had these, I must say have a very POWERFUL sound, if that makes sense? I haven't ever used the dd1008's because they wouldn't work well with my amp due to the svc 4 ohm coil.

2", and no that is the performance series with the neos, or the UL which only comes in a 12" and is $2k lol.

BTW the 8's were getting GOOD 550 rms from an ARC 2500xxk just so everyone know it wasn't some pyramid or pyle bs amp runnin'em.
