Ok I have a BLOWN Memphis MOJO 16-MCD4kw Amplifier out side is in very good shape have both end caps one is missing one of the tabs but holds on there just fine..

The amp does turn on, is not in protect but no sound at all, I opened it up and the main power coil closest to the power input is black.. So I am selling this as blown or will trade it as blown. I got a price from db-r and said it should be about $250 to $300 max to fix.

This was mounted on my box and db-r said this is common with these amps and can upgrade all the solider points so this never happens again. So it's an easy fix..

I can get pics tomorrow of the out side and inside if anyone show interest in it. Never really sold a blown amp before and since it's a simple fix and they upgrade all the solider it will be better then new and should not have this issue again.

So my asking price is $400 plus shipping and I can ship right to DB-R if you want to save on shipping.

I will also trade for a sundown 15" D2 to match the one I just got from allout13 on here. I would need it to match in power handling etc and I think all the new ones are, his was a recone upgraded version to take 3000wrms..

Mine looks just like this. BUT THIS IS NOT MINE I WILL GET PICS TOMORROW IF ANYONE WANTS THEM. This is just for anyone that does not know this amp..

I respect you, I love all of your equipment, I am seriously looking at some of your stuff, but I am slightly irked by this whole deal.

Oh if I could fix it I would to, like I said not in a rush to sell it. If I don't sell it or fix it I may take $300. But thats about as low as I would go. I only used it for week and like I said I paid $750 I think it was, so I want to get back something out of it. Great amp and I did not find it to be as power hungry as everyone says.. But I do have a 250amp alt and had 9 batts total.. lol So it never saw low volts not that it matters now.. lol

From DB-R's site:

# After you receive your amplifier, you must notify me. Let me know so I can start your warranty period. All Internet repairs have a 30 day warranty from the date you receive the amplifier back from repair. If there are any problems you should let me know as soon as possible. Shipping Costs are NOT included in the warranty. Sorry, but my prices are so low as it is that I am unable to pay for shipping on warranty items. You will still be responsible for all shipping costs. So take extra care when you receive your amplifier back from repair. Make sure you install it correctly and do not exceed the recommended impedance load. This is your Ohms load. If you have questions concerning the proper ohm load for your amplifier, please feel free to ask.

Not at the price they won't.Either way if you sell it or get it fixed and sell it your gonna be out at least 350-400 dollars.Broke amps just don't have resale value.

I say just fix it and keep it.With the repair Chris makes that amp should be a tank when it returns

BTW the power coils do not seem to be black just the peaces on each side, I forgot what there called off hand. But looks like 3 to 4 of them are burnt, so it may be less to fix this..

$400 or best offer now that I got a better look at it and it may cost less to fix.

Before some notices the SUPER LONG Screw driver, yes it's like 2 1/2 feet long, only one I had there that would fit the small screws, go figure...
