What I would do / did is get a screw driver and put it through the pole vent and kind of wiggle around and see if you hit anything, or just shake the sub. If something is rumbling around when you do that then it's probably what happened to me.

any one you want lol. overhung/even hung underhung.

under hung would work best tho for daily and sound good but wont have the power handling and output a overhung would.

the gap looks really tight so a 4 layer flat wound coil would work ?

depends, would needs measurements on both the motor and coil, buy me digital caliper and ill measure it for you ha!
