Sold FS: Aura Mobile Reference 15

Well it is time for this driver to go. It's been sitting on my bedroom floor for the past two years not doing anything but collecting dust (except the motor, which repels dust //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif). I thought about keeping it because...well, it's an Aura MR 15. B) The back of the motor has some scratches on it but the scratches aren' deep enough to where they go all the way through the paint. The front of the speaker is perfect. The only part of the speaker that has any flaws are the scuffs on the backplate/cover.

Anyway, it is a single 4 Ohm driver. There are two positive and two negative terminals - two per side but it is a single coil driver so don't get confused if you buy it and try to put the single coil in series or parallel because it won't work. The dual pos and neg terminals on it are there for wiring options only (like using dual 10 gauge to power the sub).

The specs on the sub are as follows:

4" aluminum voice coil

800 watts RMS power rating

Fs: 20 Hz

Re: 3.3 Ohms

Qms: 8

Qes: .4

Qts: .37

Vas: 169 liters

Sd: 765 cm^2

Free bump for a woofer that's only bested by the Aura NRT18-8. I have some entry level Aura 10s and I can only imagine what a woofer sounds like when Aura doesn't limit itself with a woofer that costs less than $100.

$450 is an absolute steal for that driver. The Aura Sound MR15's have been out of stock for a while and probably will be until the first of the year.

For those that don't know the 12" version of this subwoofer was rated the best SQ driver in the 12" comparison done on here.
