It's Christmas time. I feel like giving. Well, more like, I'm starting over. Newer car, new times, new tunes.
Here is the deal. I want to toss this out here and see if anyone would be intrested.
I have,both used less than one year, a MTX 7500 10" single voice coil sub, with a custom box, built to spec,vented enclosure,gray auto carpet, very professionally made, combo for sale.
I know, it's a lot of talk about JL this, W6 that, but I'm old school. I believe in quality, regaurdless of name. It all comes down to the right box for the driver, quality power, and right for the car/truck/vehicle you're driving. I've heard $90 drivers sound great in a car, as well as $$$$ drivers that sound so-so at best. But, you're not missing a whole lot, compaired to the W6 with this, unless you just feel the need to spend more money.
Let me tell you, this combo can get loud and low, BUT, it can also be very tight, accostical, and blend in with music. It's flexable.
The box is built to 1.75 cubes, and with good power, unless you're trying to win spl comps, is PLENTY for many people. The box is tuned to 38htz.
I have a smaller car now, and I want to do something with two 8" maybe..
But I'm willing to let BOTH, THE BOX AND THE SUB GO FOR
