Very cool man //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif None of your esx amps died on you..? I used to be a retailer and had massive warranty claim issues on them and then ESX dissapeared in the usa and screwed me over on 8-10 amps. Really ticked me off. One of the models I sold would die if you removed constant power from it and then reconnected it. Very odd.

No, these all have been purchased from Zed Audio directly, along with the balanced line drivers, and have worked flawlessly in 2-3 different installs now...

Actually, these ESX Quantums made me a Zed fanatic, as I have owned a ton of different amps designed and made by Steve Mantz over the years, including US Acoustics, Hifonics, Nakamichi, the ESXs and now his own line of amps (at the moment I have a Duece with burr-brown upgrade and a Minilith, with plans on adding a Draconia with burr-brown and another Minilith at some point)...

Yes, I have a car-audio compulsion that I just can't control much... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif :yumyum: My drug, errr equipment of choice are Zed amps and Alpine high-end headunits, processors and alarms... I still am not fanatical about certain speakers just yet, but with the ones in my currect install I am getting the itch... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

hmm, double post happened... how weird...

Well, I might as well add that in storage I have a full CDA-7949 headunit/PXA-H600 processor setup both in mint condition awaiting a future audio-only install, along with another CDA-7949/PXA-H600 for spare parts, a PXA-H510 Dolby Digital processor, a CDA-7998, a CHA-S605 changer, a CHA-S624 changer, a couple of SEA-8081 alarm setups, SEC-8048 alarm setups, SEC-8343 expansion module, and a bunch of app-specific Alpine specialty cables... Hell my conversion van has a full CVA-1000/NVA-751AS/ERA-G320 setup in it in front as well as a PXA-H510 in back for control of the kids A/V setup with a 22" widescreen monitor for thier viewing pleasure...

Like I said, it's an illness... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

*lol* sounds like my garage a few years back. Sold 95% of it off when I swore off car audio when everything went to crap in the industry. Starting to collect again! Bought two 9835's last night and looking for a 100% flawless 7949 " will be my 3rd 7949 and I still view it as one of the best decks of it's time.

Glad your ESX's worked out for you, I really got ripped off by them. From memory the seperate crossover daughter cards were dying on them over and over and over. Then they screwed us over royally and dissapeared. Screwed over some other dealers that were buds in the area as well.
