I have an Acer AL1916W 19" Widescreen Monitor. My mom was using it on her computer, and all of the sudden it went blank. She could still see the images, on the screen, but the back light was off. She tried turning it off, and back on, and it came on for a second, and turned off again. I brought it home, and took it apart. All items seemed to function fine. Of course they're not though. I took off the ribbons for the main video board, and plugged them back in while the power was on (I know, not safe...) It showed the video, and stayed on for quite a while. Unplugged the video and power cable, and put it back together. All seemed fine, until I plugged in the video. Showed for a second, and turned right back off. Took it back apart, and did the same thing, all was good until I pulled the power from it. So since, the video does work, it's not the backlights or the video main board, so I'm assuming the power supply board is at fault, somehow. I won't take less than $50 for it. Can get videos of it's problems, and videos of it working longer than 1 or 2 seconds. PayPal only.
