Installation Info:

Warning:The dead pedal (foot rest next to driver's side kick panel) on driver's side kick panel must be removed from the vehicle for this installation. The driver's side Q-form obstructs the dead pedal mount, so the dead pedal cannot be used while the Q-Forms are in place.

Allowable Speaker Sizes: This unit allows you to mount a tweeter with a maximum diameter of 2-1/2" and a 3 1/2" to 5 1/4" inch midrange/midbass unit. The maximum cut-out you can make for the midrange/bass unit is 5.9", so a few 6.5" speakers may fit. Make sure to check the specs/features for cut-out and mounting depth of any components you sell.

Speaker Mounting Depths: Giving exact mounting depths is not possible, since it will depend to some extent on the space available behind the factory kick panel. However, the minimum flush mount depth for the tweeter is 0.75" and the minimum depth for the woofer/mid bass component 2.5".

Hole Cutting: Mounting speakers requires cutting holes in the Q-Form plastic. One hole must be cut for each woofer. If the tweeters are to be flush mounted, a hole must be cut for each tweeter.

Tweeter Mounting Options: The tweeters (sold separately) can be flush or surface mounted, but, if surface mounting, make sure to allow for clearance from obstructions such as parking brake.

Estimated Installation Time: 1.5 hours (per manufacturer)
