Sold FS: (3) Memphis MCA5004 amplifiers

*I'm selling this for a friend who doesn't have an account here. I can completely vouch for him, though, and he's a regular on DIYma & SD. His s/n is Thumper26.

I have three Memphis MCA5004 amplifiers for sale. All are in 9.5 condition or better. These were used in a SQ competition vehicle during the 2008 season. They were owned and installed by an authorized Memphis dealer. Two of the amps have had an extra ground added to the RCA leads. The owner was dealing with alt whine, and tried that as a fix. The problem ended up not being with the amps, but he left the wires soldered on. These do not affect performance or functionality in any way.

They are rated at 125x4 at 4 ohms, and 500x2 when bridged.

I believe these came from Steve Cook's truck, too; Jonathan never got to use them because he changed his mind. If anyone knows about his Avalanche, you'll know it was one of the best sounding vehicles last year. And Steve is also an ex-SPL head who did quite a few amazing things. He owns Audio X in Florence. To sum it up; these amps were part of a great install and were taken very well care of.
