I have two Kicker L7 15's. They are the 04 model and have been run in a 3.5 cubic feet box tuned to 35 hz since I bought them. Both of the subs function perfectly, but they both have some cosmetic blemishes. The first one has a puncture through the cone. It has been sealed up with "Goop." The previous owner had used Epoxy but I went back over it all with the goop, those of you that have used Goop on anything, you'll know how strong it is. This sub works perfectly and sounds as good as the other with no puncture. The price for this sub will be $125 shipped.

The other sub, the one without the puncture, has a few blemishes around the plastic ring on the outside. It sounds amazing and both of them have been run off of a Hifonics BXi2008D. I'll sell this one for $150 shipped.

EDIT: Good sub sold to Korn4life.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that these are the dual 2 ohm models.

EDIT2: Did a little work on the Kicker:

Thanks.

I had it in my Geo, you could barely notice it when mounted, and when the center of attention wasn't focused on it. I think $125 shipped for the sub is a fair price.

The video at the time was running at .8 ohms, but with beefy electrical it wasn't a problem for the 2008. After that I decided to go down to .5 ohms with some cooling, a HO alternator, and an extra battery in the back.

so, what was the "beefy" electrical before you added the HO alt, and another battery?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

No, that wasn't beefy, lol. All I had when I took this was the HO alternator. I was running a 150A alternator with 4 ga running from the alt to the battery, and then 4 ga running to the amp in the back. I was also running an amp for the mids and highs as well.

There were 2 L7's in that video, lol. I don't think the BXi2008D would stay proportional to the 2k @1 ohm, 3k @.5 ohm. I'm not sure what I was pushing, but with a quick check on my multimeter's amp clamp, each sub was pulling about 25 amps at 40v AC. I had to check the sub leads because my multimeter will only get AC amps, not DC on the el-cheapo.

I've got the subs and amp here still, I could hook them up and get you another video of the subs running on free air, but I'm not comfortable pushing them like this.

Well I've decided to take the old epoxy off of the broken sub and try to clean it up a bit with the clear goop, It'll still be a little dirty, but a lot cleaner than his epoxy job.

I was pretty scared to run it at .5 ohms at what I previously had the gain set to, so I dropped the gain a bit and added cooling to the amp. It was pretty loud, and if necessary, I can get pictures of the voice coils of both subs, I promise they're both in pristine working condition.

I'll have pictures of the sub with the new sealant on it up in just a few. It looks a lot cleaner and I got rid of the metal plate on the front.

Come on peopleeee. I need $200 more to get my new transmission for my 300zx.

$100 shipped for the punctured cone, $140 shipped for the good one. $200 shipped together.

I fixed the cone with some goop, no more yellow epoxy, it's all clear and if anyone here can vouch for "Goop" it would be appreciated. This stuff won't ever come off unless you're prying on it with something.
