Sold FS: 2 Soundstream Rubicon amps a 502 and a Class A 5.2

Rubicon 502:

Great amp, has been used for about 6 months. It was used to power my components, very clean and had the comps screamin. It has never had either channel clip out or has it been pushed anywhere near its limits. I'd rate the amp a 10 for working condition and an 8.5 for appearance. There are a couple small scuffs from the drill near the mounting holes. They are covered when the spoiler is on so you can't see them. I have the front spoiler, thumb screws, original box and manual. Retailed for $550 brand new.

Rubicon Class A 5.2/Aka Sleeping Beauty:

The Class A version of the 502. This amp has never been installed, it has been tested to make sure it works but never installed. It has been stored in a closet in the Rubi 502 box. I'd rate this amp a perfect 10, it is basically BNIB condition only I don't have the box. This amp is the ultimate sleeper amp, it is rated at a mere 1/4 of a watt x 2 @ 4 ohms stereo, but will put out 500w x 1 @ 2, 1, and 1/2 ohm mono. The amp is stable down to 1/4 ohm stereo. I have the front spoiler and thumb screws, but I don't have the box or the manual for this amp. The Class A 5.2 retailed for $800 brand new.

how much power is the 502 at 4 ohm stereo?

It put out 100w x 2 @4ohm stereo, 250w x2 @ 2ohm stereo. It puts out 500w x 1 @ 4ohm and 2ohm mono. The amp is stable to 1 ohm mono.

bump........did I mention that the rubicon 502 is severely underrated??? It(this model amp, not the one I own) was tested at 1016w X 1 @ 1 ohm mono. This was right before the amp started clipping out, so I'd say it safely puts out 700-800w easy.

Bump.......these are the first generation Rubicons. They are made in the U.S.A. with the good parts, before they started using cheap sh!t in Korea. These are both quality old school soundstream amps.

No problem, just giving some background info on the amp for those who aren't familiar with it. As for my asking price, they(502s in the same condition) usually go for $250-$300 on ebay. Since this amp was only used for 6 months and wasn't used to run subs, I am looking for an offer in that range.
