Still have two fully-loaded 18" Fi BTLs (dual 1 ohm), two Optima Bluetops and now a MA Audio HK-4000D that I bought from Scottie that I should sell to pay my bills.

I'm a dumbass with my money, and my insurance is WAY THROUGH THE ROOF. I'm hoping a friend's wife can get my insurance lowered for me, won't know for a while, but I can't afford this system right now with car payments and insurance.

dont know if this will help or has been said but maby you could get the insurance put under your mom or dads name and you as a ocasional driver? That should lower it alittle.

It was $450 a month with the new truck... good student discount and some other little things got it down to $320, no other insurance company is cheaper, NONE.

I don't get it dude, mine was $120 when I was 16 (4 years ago) , and I live in CA. No reason for it to be that high.

BTLs are in great condition, work good as new.

I reconed one, the CA glue put off fumes that turned the area around the dust cap white. I was told it could possibly be cleaned... and if it REALLY bothers you, you could order the recone from Fi for $90 and use GOOP instead of CA glue on the dust cap and it'll look brand new.

Blue tops are now sold.

For real, I can't think of any reason why it would be that exception of a DUI. Mine is $165.

I know this is off topic but it should not be that high, I hate to rub it in but thats what my 16 year old son pays for an entire year for his truck. What insurance company are you using?
