Alright the old thread was long as balls and I decided to install the 9515 and just sell these, so here is a new thread for you guys.

Okay, I traded my 4 12" SI BMs for these 18s because I figured they would sell easier, and there has been plenty more interest, but mostly for trades. Well I decided that now I need the money and I am not interested in any trades because I am installing a 9515. So there it is. They are packaged up and ready to go out as soon as I get some cash for them. I accept Paypal, Money Orders, Western Union, Cash, whatever. As far as power handling, they are apparently rated for around 1200 - 1500 rms, but I would not hesitate to send them a clean 1800 - 2000 and see how they respond. They were run together in a sealed box by the previous owner on not a lot of power, so they are mechanically and cosmetically fine. Before that they were in Robin's wall, but he made sure they were in great condition and reconed before he traded them to Millz.

So here they are, the pics are from the guy I got them from, MillzThaYungin:

Here is the install done by Robin (wall tuned to 32 hz in his neon, the 18s did a 147.X off only an IA 20.1):

So these are some tough subs here that are in good condition and have the ability to get loud as balls off not a lot of power. Buy em.

Not really looking for trades. However, I will consider a pair of 12s - after I sell these and get tired of my 9515 I'm going to look into a pair of AQ HDC3 12s or 3512s. So I'm not really wanting to trade these away anymore because I'd probably end up trying to sell whatever I trade for. But offer up what you got I guess.

You could easily fit a pair back there in a 4 runner if you gave up all the space. They would need about 11 - 12 cubes net for the pair and then you have port volume, sub displacement, and wood displacement. So probably around 15 - 16 cubes gross for the pair, possibly a little less. But you could definitely make it work.

I have a guy with a 4 runner who wants to trade a 15 for my 18s to put them back there, so I'm sure if he could do it you could do it, too.

If you measure the depth and width of your cargo area I can tell you about how high it would have to be...

As far as power, you would need around 2.5kw at either 2 or 0.5 ohm to get them going good.

To fit 15 cubes you would only need it to be 20" high, so I think you have plenty of room to work with. I have designed boxes for my 18, 10, 15 and my friend's 12, so if you buy these I can design you a great box to fit in your space and sound how you want.

As far as power, your autotek 1500 will work if it puts out the 1500 at 2 ohm or if it does it at 1 ohm and is 0.5 ohm stable. That will be enough power to get them going, but later on you may want to upgrade the amp to get more out of the 18s.
