I'm trying to agree to go halfway, otherwise it's kinda of a far trip.

Palmer Lake or Monument are the same place.

It's exit 161, about ~20 miles away from the center of co-springs.

Thats more then halfway and I think fair. Considering I'd be driving over there, close to 55 miles one way trip.
