Tc Sounds 18" 4hpz

2. Specs:

arent really any specs. this uses a 4" edgewound underhung coil. quad 10"spiders svc 1ohm

3. Description/Condition:

sub is not put together. basket needs to be cleaned. the spider landing is cleaned and sanded down. i started to to the surround landing but havent really had the time to finish. magent has a few chips from poor packaging when it was shipped. gap needs to be cleaned.

I have a few issues going on right now, if i can solve them before this sells than i am keeping it.

there is only 4 of these made and only two are floating around.

$800+s/h obo.

do not ask what is the lowest i will take because i will ignore you, if you have a offer make it.

I will take partial trades and cash since I know money is tight for most as it is for me

No man its a crazy sub that I would love to have but all the 5400's i have seen before had huge coils on them... Must be one of those off the wall designs by thilo back in the day... He made so many protoype's and one off subs

this was made before the 5400 i believe its based off a 4hp design. extra slug, tighter gap alot of extra things. this design was more efficient than a normal 4hp motor.

has 2 shortening rings,a solid pole piece,a gap so tight that ONLY a 2 layer coil will fit it. there are a few more things about it. matt zamora would be the one to ask. they weigh close to 100 lbs (just the motor.) like he said only 4 made. josh has one, zamora has 2 and i have one in the next room //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

capable of too much. when matt first made these a a 12" these subs with his soft parts were 5db more efficient than a normal 4hp motor

Well, good luck. its a neat sub for sure. would rather you keep it, but whatever.

just having some personal issues at home right now. but things seem to be getting better but who really knows. i will most likely keep it as im dying to test it out
